Day 367 – Teddy’s Going Home

Today I got the chance to go along with Patrica to drop off one of her dogs, Teddy, to be brought to his forever home. I’ve grown to really like Teddy over the past few months so I was both happy and sad to see him go. Which is kind of strange since I am also the one leaving Teddy to continue on my bicycle trip.

We brought him to the town of Kennedy to meet up with another rescuer who is bringing Teddy up to Austin tomorrow to be handed over to Dog Runner, a dog transport company, for his trip up to Ohio. It should take about six days for him to get there and will be an adventure in and of itself.
